Glass Balustrades in Double Bay
About this service
Frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades give a staircase, balcony or landing a clean, open feel without blocking the light or the view. Harmony Glass designs, measures and installs toughened glass balustrades for homes and commercial spaces, with every panel cut to suit the exact run rather than forced to fit an off-the-shelf kit.
Frameless systems sit in a recessed channel or on discreet stainless spigots, so the glass appears to float with no visible posts. Semi-frameless setups use slim posts at intervals — a lower-cost option that still keeps sightlines wide. We can add a timber, stainless or powder-coated handrail where you want something to hold, or leave the top edge polished and clean for a pure frameless look.
All glass is Grade A toughened safety glass, and every install is set out to meet the relevant Australian Standards for barrier height and structural loading. That matters most on stairs and elevated decks, where the balustrade isn't just a design feature — it's the safety barrier.
Harmony Glass is a licensed NSW glazier (licence 497529C) and fully insured. We come out, measure on site, and give you a free written quote before anything is ordered, so the panels are made to your actual openings — not a rough estimate.

Local knowledge
Why choose Harmony Glass in Double Bay
Double Bay sits right on the harbour, a mix of grand older homes, luxury apartments and waterfront properties on some of the most valuable land in the country. Much of the work here is high-end renovation and rebuild, where the finish has to match the address.
Steep blocks and tight harbourside streets are common across the suburb. Access on the older waterfront properties often needs planning before a job starts, so getting the setout right early matters.
